Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and HTMLViewer.io ("HTMLViewer.io", "we", "us") about your use of htmlviewer.io and everything it offers: pasting, previewing, saving, sharing and exporting HTML, and the optional paid AI design feature (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you can accept these Terms for it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and our Refund Policy explains cancellations and refunds. Both are part of these Terms.
Accounts
- You can preview HTML without an account. Saving, sharing and AI design need an account, created with Google sign-in or with an email address and password.
- Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or older if your country requires it, to create an account.
Your content
- You keep all rights to the HTML and other material you paste, save or share ("Your Content").
- You give us a limited permission to host, store, copy, process, render and transmit Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you — for example to save it, to show it to the people you share it with, to export it, and to send it to AI providers when you run AI design.
- You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to use it. When you make a document public, anyone with the link can open it.
- Keep your own copy of anything important. We work to keep your documents safe, but the Service is not a backup service.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- host or share phishing pages, forms that collect passwords or payment details under false pretences, malware, or pages that impersonate another person or organization;
- publish illegal content, content that infringes someone else's rights, or any sexual content involving minors;
- send spam, or use sharing invitations to contact people who did not ask to be contacted;
- attack, overload or disrupt the Service, scrape it at scale, or get around its limits — rate limits, credits, size caps or bot protection;
- resell access to AI design, or create accounts by automated means.
We may remove content, disable share links, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may report illegal content to the authorities. Report abuse to [email protected].
AI design and credits
- AI design restyles your page with third-party AI models. It is designed to keep your words, numbers, charts and scripts unchanged, but AI output can contain mistakes. You review the result and decide whether to keep it; your original stays unchanged until you do.
- AI design uses credits. One credit is one US cent of AI processing; a run is charged by the processing it actually used, and failed runs are not charged.
- Plan credits renew at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Credits from credit packs do not expire while your account stays open.
- Each plan has usage limits — page size and runs per minute, hour and day — shown on the Pricing page. The Free plan includes a small monthly allowance.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are refundable only as described in the Refund Policy.
Paid plans and payments
- Prices are listed on the Pricing page in US dollars and include VAT or sales tax where it applies.
- Orders are processed by our online reseller and merchant of record, Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh), which handles payment, invoicing and sales tax. Polar's terms also apply to your purchase. We never see your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep your plan and its remaining credits until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- We may change prices or what a plan includes. A price increase applies to an active subscription only from a renewal after we have told you about it by email at least 14 days in advance, so you can cancel first.
Changes to the Service
The Service is still evolving. We may add, change or remove features, including free features, and we may set or change usage limits. If we stop offering a paid feature you have already paid for, we will refund the unused part.
Suspension and closing your account
- You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected].
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we must do so by law. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- If we close your account or the Service without you having broken these Terms, we will refund the unused part of any paid plan or credit pack.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that AI output will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Third-party services
The Service relies on other providers — for example Google for sign-in, Polar for payments and AI model providers for AI design. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and close your account.
Disputes and governing law
If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first — most issues can be solved quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where HTMLViewer.io is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
